Now
you have your web pages ready to publish to the web, so your asking
yourself what now? We have compiled this information so that we
can take some of the guess work out of it for you.
WS-FTP
is a program used to publish your website to the Internet.
From here you can upload/download files to and from your Virtual
Server webspace. Once you have downloaded this program you will
need to input your information (as shown below) When you open this
program you will be looking at a screen like this: (Shown
Below) For some people it may look very intimidating. But once you
use it you will see that it's not too complicated.

If

Profile Name: This
is just the reference name which WS-FTP remembers as the profile,
this can be any name that you like that you can associate your site
with.
Host Name / Address: Type in your domain
name that you have with your account (www.mydomain.com, net, org,
edu, depending on the one you chose). This has to be correct for
the server to find your site.
Please note: that if your domain registration
has not been completed in the Internic Database then you must use
the (www.yourdomain.com, net, org, edu, depending on the one you
chose) If the registration has been complete according to the Internic
Database, then you need to type in your IP Number that was provided
for you when you opened your account.
In other words, if you try one way and it
doesn't work, try the other.
Host Type: From
the drop down menu please select: Automatic Detect
UserID : YourDomainName (without the
.com or .net)
(Ex. if your domain name is AAA WebsiteHosting.com then ftpusername
is AAA WebsiteHosting).
Please remember that most things on the internet are case sensitive.
Type this information in lower case.
Password:
type your password in lower case.
Once you have setup WS-FTP and clicked OK, WS-FTP will display the
directory structure on your virtual server on the right hand side,
and your local machine directory structure on the left.
Now you can transfer files to and from your virtual server by dragging
files across or tagging files and using the arrow buttons in the
FTP window.
